Department of Science
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Science; Fazlani International School believes that every theory should be backed with a practical experiment at the laboratory. This is the prime reason why it has three well-equipped science laboratories in its campus. Students are encouraged to visit laboratories for simplified learning and understanding. Practical hands-on experiments are employed to enhance the process of learning and allow students the opportunity to experiment.
School students are naturally curious, which makes science an ideal subject for them to learn. Science allows students to explore their world and discover new things. It is also an active subject, containing activities such as hands-on labs and experiments. This makes science well-suited to active younger children. Science is an important part of the foundation for education for all children. Being a core subject in the school’s curriculum till Class X, sciences are taught to all pupils. Later, students can choose between the different disciplines offered according to their interests.
Teaching science calls for innovative methods and our highly advanced chemistry, biology and physics laboratories serve as valuable means of enhancing teaching and developing a passion for the subject. Supervised practical sessions in laboratory encourage interested students to undertake a considerable amount of personal project work as well. Our laboratories help students to develop pragmatic logic and rationale, and equip them to make scientific arguments.
Department of Sports
At FINS, we lay a strong emphasis on sports and physical development. Our sports curriculum is planned and designed for students to develop and enhance skills like strength, speed, endurance, agility, flexibility, control, balance etc. Sports today have also evolved as a form of entertainment and also offer promising careers.
We believe in mass participation, exposing our students to a number of sports events at inter-school, state, national and international level. Every student is encouraged to join at least one school sports team. The P.E. teachers we hire are young and energetic with a good amount of expertise in sports and provide coaching for sports like Basketball, Football, Volleyball and Karate etc.
We have weekly achievable goals for the different skills required for a particular sport and train students accordingly. Intersection matches are conducted every month.For students to know the benefits of the sports they play, they are informed about the body parts and muscle development in playing each sport along with game knowledge.
Basketball adds on to the development of a child’s mind, tolerance, coordination and most importantly imparts a sense of rigor. Like any other sport, even basketball counts for a lot of practice and dedication.Every child’s fantasy begins with being the next Lionel Messi. Football is the most popular sport and every child must have that experience. We have dedicated football fields.
Volley Ball is a sport that requires team work and co-ordination. Children learn to work in a team, take responsibility and trust their teammates.
Taekwondo strengthens mental and physical strength. It gives a sense of self-discipline at an early stage of life.
Activities like marathons, races, long jump, etc. are all a part of athletics which boost the morale of our students to try harder with better preparations every time they perform. These activities stretch their abilities and enhance their stamina, muscle tone and have a number of physical benefits.
Department of Maths
The Department of Mathematics at Fazlani International School consists of highly qualified and enthusiastic faculty. They promote intellectual growth in students with a wide variety of interests towards the subject and to develop mathematical curiosity wherein we try to relate the subject to the environment and focus on the development of thinking and reasoning.
In advancing the vision, the department will strive for innovative and creative teaching-learning process in the classroom by engaging and involving the student (learner) at every step.

Department of IT
The age of technology is upon us and it is becoming increasingly difficult for someone to function without a knowledge of computers. At Fazlani, we realize this and have a state-of-the-art computer lab in the school premises. The computer lab has adequate number of latest PCs which have all the required software installed. All PCs have internet connection. The school imparts computer education from class I onwards.
The students have free access to the system and are encouraged to explore the system under the supervision of experienced computer teachers. XI and XII students are provided with special advance computer for programming. The proper use of the Internet is a combined responsibility of students, parents/guardians and staff at school and they are trained to use the computer with significance of the educational value to be gained from it.
This lab is specially designed to educate the students with the latest technology so that the children get familiar with technology from a young age. We recognize the importance of digital literacy and use technology to develop responsible and empowered individuals. FINS encourages students to make the best use of all technological facilities furnished by the school to shape their academic performances.
Department of English
Learning is a fun process that helps us to cope up with the change. It brings us happiness and increases our value. Our process of teaching- learning focuses upon the activities that encourage and boost confidence in them.As English is the medium of instruction, the curriculum has been designed to develop the students’ communicative competence. Content selection is determined by the students’ present and future academic, social and future needs.
Students are encouraged to monitor their progress, space out their learning. They are encouraged to see language not just as a functional tool, but as an important part of personal development and inculcation of values. We over all aim at the students’ interest in and appreciation of literature. We teach them to communicate effectively and appropriately in real-life situations. Students are motivated to develop and integrate the use of the four language skills- listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Special attention on presentation and communication is given so that the students excel in academics. Department of Hindi
It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Hindi. It’s estimated that nearly half a billion people worldwide speak this wonderful language The Department of Hindi aims at providing teaching facilities in Hindi, keeping in view the changing social norms, communication patterns, different social roles of language in our society and fast changing social values in our time. While drawing up the syllabus, sufficient care has been taken to cater to the above needs.
It has been kept flexible enough to incorporate various requirements of the students in the context of contemporary society. Special attention is also given to the regional and comprehensive studies of language and literature. Syllabus of the Hindi Department is based on the CBSE and updated time to time in consultation with experts with due approval of Academic Bodies.With Hindi getting the status of Official Language, the work of Hindi education got the desired impetus.
When Hindi with Devanagri script became Official Language of the Union, it was bound to impact the education scenario in the country. Our department is adopting innovative practices in teaching, learning and evaluation process. ICT integrated teaching, seminars, interactive classes, group discussions, internal and external assessment practices are enriching the teaching and learning.

Every person cannot become a good artist or craftsman. Often they are born with talent. Their talents have to be nurtured and improved.
Art and craft are appreciated by everyone in society. They are so beautiful to look at. Artistic paintings and articles are purchased in exhibitions at high prices.
Crafts are displayed in the front room of a house or hotels and are also placed on the office tables. Developing skills in art and craft is very good and useful. Children learn creative and imaginative skills in these activities. The government of India encourages art and craft. There is a showroom for them in every city for tourists and visitors. Often an exhibition is organized to display new artistic items and crafts in every city. Ancient India has a rich tradition of art and craft.
